While chamfer bits are mostly used for edging, these bits can also be used to create miter joints of various angles. Some of the available angle degrees are 11.25°, 15°, 22.5°, 30° and 45°. Cutting these angles into 2 adjoining pieces of wood will create miter joints of 22.5, 30, 45, 60 and 90 respectively.
