This commercial entry lock provides 2 distinct ways to secure a door. 1 option uses a push and turn button on the inside, with the outside lever remaining locked until the inside button is manually unlocked; the other option uses a push button lock on the inside and requires keys and the outside lever to unlock, while the inside lever remains free for immediate egress. The assembly uses a 70 millimeter backset that fits doors about 1-3/4 in. thick, making it compatible with many standard commercial frames. The lockset is reversible, so it can be installed on either left or right handed doors, accommodating varying building layouts. Weight is about 4.7 lbs. per pack, and the hardware carries ANSI/BHMA Grade 2 certification along with UL listing, meeting accessibility requirements and providing fire resistance up to 3 hours. A large 3.39 in. cover plate simplifies installation on standard openings and can be used on commercial or industrial applications; it also allows residential doors with door hole diameters of up to 60 millimeters to work with the unit. Each lever is keyed differently, but rekeying to a keyed-alike configuration is feasible at a local shop using the SC1 keyway.
