The unit is designed for bathroom use and heats a load of cotton towels in about twenty five minutes using a 450 watt heating element that provides steady, even warmth. To operate, place towels inside, close the lid, and press the Work button; the built in timer allows a run from 1 to 4 hours, and defaults to a 30 minute insulation cycle on startup. An indicator light signals when the device is active and the insulation mode is engaged. Built for safety, the unit features a wooden lid and a fire resistant exterior, along with a 3 layer temperature control that automatically shuts off if the internal temperature rises too high. It is not designed to dry damp items and should not be used with non heat resistant fabrics or chemical fiber towels. Materials are chosen to minimize allergen exposure and the interior should not be touched when the hot surface indicator is on.
