1/2 in. 35XLCH Atmospheric Vacuum Breaker with rough chrome plate finish is utilized in high hazard, non-continuous pressure applications for protection against backsiphonage of contaminated water into the potable water supply. The main valve body is made from cast bronze with a lightweight plastic float, and is ideal for use in both irrigation and laboratory applications. The 35XL prevents backsiphonage in an economical way, and features a maximum working water pressure of 125 psi and a maximum water temperature of 180°F.
