Weatherable stanford aluminum post kit with a flange is engineered for strength and durability. The 54 tall posts can be used with the 38 and 42 tall stanford aluminum railing kits if you have a custom installation that requires a longer post. The 2.5 in. Square posts has 2-decorative grooves on each side of the post. The decorative grooves show architectural depth to the post, but also serve as self-centering guides when installing the stanford aluminum railing kit. This makes screwing the brackets to the post much easier. The long lasting, textured black powder coated eliminates the need for maintenance. The stanford aluminum post is 0.100 in. Thick and can be installed directly on concrete or on your deck. Required fasteners (depending on your method of installation) sold separately.
