K2 Pumps Submersible Grinder Pump is designed to grind and pump wastewater and sewage containing tough materials, including disposable wipes, toilet paper and sanitary napkins. The stainless steel cutting system grinds materials up to 2" in diameter into small particles to prevent clogging. The powerful capacitor start capacitor run (CSCR) 1 HP motor and engineered cutting system reduces risk of clogging and smooths the discharge into a slurry. The pump is operated by a 115 Volt single-phase, oil-cooled motor with auto reset thermal overload protection. This is a high performance pump with a maximum flow of 55 GPM and maximum head of 50'. Ideal for replacing existing sewage or grinder pumps in residential or light commercial buildings
