BrandGuard's ember-resistant foundation vents protect your home from embers during a wildfire and provide critical cooling and ventilation to the crawl space, sub-floor, or garage. These vents are tested for use in high-severity fire hazard zones and high-density housing buildings where a 1-hour fire rating is required. Our galvanized steel vents have overlapping baffle protection that directs airflow to help prevent rot and resists flame, ember, and radiant heat intrusion, as well as utilize 360° heat-activated Intumescent Strip technology that instantaneously close off vents if exposed to that level of heat. These vents can be primed and painted to match or complement the color of your home.
