If you are planning to direct mount these to your ceiling, you will love the way that they overlap. Perfect for both commercial and residential applications, these Tiles are made from thick 0.03 in. vinyl plastic. Their lightweight yet durable construction make these tiles easy to install. 100% Waterproof, these tiles are washable and won't stain due to humidity or mildew. A perfect choice for anyone wanting to add that designer touch at an amazing price. Since your ceiling will more than likely have partial tiles at the perimeter, you will have to cut your tiles to size for those areas. This can sometimes create a gap running into the wall with certain styles. Since the New Orleans style has only a slight projection in the design, you might not feel the need for a separate border tile.
