Eye lag toggle assemblies are primarily used for overhead applications and hanging suspended ceiling wire. Using a drill with a 5/8 in. bit, a hole is drilled into the plaster, clay tile or other hollow substrate. Winged end is inserted through drywall, acoustical tile, etc. and expands behind the surface while the 1/4 in. x 1-1/4 in. fender washer and hex nut secure the anchor on the exterior of the hole.
