## Description

The Tectite by Apollo Push-To-Connect x CTS Street Slip Adapter is a reliable and versatile fitting designed to allow the user to slip any push-to-connect fitting or valve into new or existing piping systems utilizing push-to-connect technology. The transition adapter has a push-to-connect end and a CTS sized street or stem on the opposing end which is suitable for insertion into any existing or new CTS sized push-to-connect fitting. This versatility allows the user to remove 2 in. of existing pipe and slip the new fitting or valve into place. Tectite by Apollo push-to-connect fittings are the cleanest and simplest way to join any combination of copper, CPVC, PE-RT and PEX pipe without the use of tools, solder, open flame or glue. Simply insert the pipe to allow the high-strength stainless steel teeth to grip the pipe securely against the specially designed O-ring. Fitting removal and reuse is just as simple using a simple demount clip (sold separately). After assembly, fittings may be rotated for simpler installation in tight spaces. All Tectite by Apollo fittings are approved for use in both potable water and hydronic heating piping systems.
