## Description

The 1/2 in. Tectite by Apollo Copper Tube Size Slip Tee allows for the addition of a line to existing plumbing systems. The copper tube size outlet end will connect with any Tectite by Apollo Push-To-Connect fitting or valve. Typically used to add a line in lieu of using a saddle valve, a Tectite by Apollo Stop Valve may be added for flow control. The slip capability allows a section (up to 2 in.) of Copper or CPVC pipe to be cut out allowing for the easy installation of the fitting where rigid pipes do not allow movement. Simply insert the slip coupling on to the pipe and using the Tectite by Apollo demount clip (included) to slip the fitting back onto the other end of pipe completing the connection. Great for emergencies and freeze repairs, the Tectite by Apollo Push-To-Connect Copper Tube Size Slip Tee is the fastest, cleanest and simplest way to add a line to existing copper and CPVC pipe without the use of tools, solder, open flame or glue. Fitting removal and reuse is just as simple using a simple demount clip (included). After assembly, fitting may be rotated for simpler installation in tight spaces. All Tectite by Apollo fittings are approved for use in both potable water and hydronic heating piping systems.
