The SYSTON 18 AWG Thermostat Cable is engineered for reliable low voltage control wiring in residential and commercial systems, featuring solid bare copper conductors for superior conductivity, minimal voltage drop, and long-term performance. Rated 300V CL3 and Riser CMR / CL3R / FT4, this cable meets Class 3 (100VA) power-limited circuit requirements and provides enhanced flame resistance for vertical runs in risers, shafts, and multi-story buildings-exceeding the limitations of CL2 or CM cables. Designed for thermostat, HVAC, furnace, air conditioning, doorbell, garage door control, annunciator, intercom, security, and general control applications, it supports stable signal transmission in demanding environments. The sunlight-resistant, flame-retardant PVC jacket is UV resistant and rain-resistant, suitable for indoor and outdoor use, but not rated for direct burial or continuous water immersion and must not be used as a power cable. Installation is contractor-friendly with a smooth round jacket, integrated rip cord, E-Z footage markings, and RhinoPac tangle-free packaging to improve efficiency and accuracy on the job site. RoHS compliant and NEC/UL tested, this professional-grade thermostat wire delivers dependable performance with code-compliant safety.
