Each valve is constructed of solid brass, bronze, and stainless steel, and features an adjustable piston that instantly and continually balances the hot and cold water pressure as demand fluctuates in the plumbing system. An adjustable stop screw limits the maximum hot water temperature.The Temptrol features a one-piece cast brass body with ½-inch NPT threaded and direct sweat connection inlets/outlets for easy installation, and factory-installed options are available for CPVC, PEX, and ProPress connections.This valve features the VersaFlex Integral Diverter, which diverts water flow to a variety of outlets without the need for a separate diverter valve. Not only is the Temptrol valve easy to install, but it is also simple to maintain and adjust when needed.
