The Symmons IceMate ice maker box was designed to supply water to most refrigerators with ice makers and water dispensers. The IceMate box can be installed within a 16 in. stud bay with the heavy duty metal mounting straps or direct mounted to studs. The supply box is made of PVC with a paintable faceplate that accommodates up to 2 layers of 5/8 in. drywall. The quarter turn ball valve has a ½ in. sweat inlet and a ¼ in. compression outlet and features a water hammer arrestor to prevent banging pipes when the ice maker is in use. It also includes 1/2 in. PEX crimp adapters. The IceMate ice maker box is backed by the Symmons limited lifetime consumer warranty and 10 year warranty for commercial use.
