The Symmons IceMate ice maker box was designed to supply water to most refrigerators with ice makers and water dispensers. The IceMate box can be installed within a 16 in. stud bay with the heavy duty metal mounting straps or direct mounted to studs. The supply box is made of PVC with a paintable faceplate that accommodates up to 2 layers of 5/8 in. drywall. The quarter turn ball valve has a ½ in. sweat inlet and a ¼ in. compression outlet and features a water hammer arrestor to prevent banging pipes when the ice maker is in use. It also includes PEX cold expansion adapters. The IceMate ice maker box is backed by the Symmons limited lifetime consumer warranty and 10 year warranty for commercial use.
