## Description

SUNSHIELD is a water-based, high-performance ceramic solar heat BLOCKING coating that limits sunlight heat from penetrating onto any surface or application where sunlight heat penetration is a problem — roofs, walls, containers, trailers, RVs, commercial buildings and more. Based on the same NASA-collaborated ceramic technology as Super Therm®, co-developed with NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center over 6 years using ceramics originally developed for spacecraft re-entry shields, SUNSHIELD contains 4 unique ceramic compounds that BLOCK up to 85% of solar heat (UV, visible light and infrared) before it ever loads onto the surface. Once applied, the surface stays physically cool to the touch regardless of how hot it is outside. SUNSHIELD reduces expansion and contraction on roofs that cause leaks, prevents surface deterioration, and will not peel, crack or lose adhesion. Resists dirt, mold, mildew and pollution. USDA approved, Energy Star certified, low VOC (21 g/L). Residential and commercial use. Coverage: 90 sq. ft. per gallon. Comes in 5 Gal. pails.
