Add warmth and privacy to your yard this year with the Slipfence Horizontal Fence system. This 6 ft. in-line panel bundle includes one Slipfence 6 ft. Plated Post for surface mounting with cap, 2 (two) side channels, and one top cap rail to finish off the top nicely and protect the top board from the elements. This bundle provides a strong and long-lasting framework for each surface mounted panel in your horizontal fence project. Attach channels to the Slipfence plated post included, then slip in 13 units of the 1 in. thick deck boards, (called 5/4" boards), sold separately, into these channels. The result is a fully private, contemporary, horizontal wood fence panel that has the strength and endurance of an aluminum fence with the warmth and privacy of a wood fence. This system requires one Slipfence Aluminum plated post (Model # SF2-PP376) to complete a fence line of numerous panels. Search Model # 540612MGSHD for 12 foot deck boards and purchase 13 of these per 2 Slipfence SF2-HWPP6 fence panels and cut to exact size on site, (approximately 6 feet). Once your Slipfence horizontal fence system is installed, the wood will appear too high for the channels. Please allow approximately 4-6 weeks for the wood to shrink and settle down to approximately 1" above the tops of the two side channels and then screw in the 12 boards stacked on top of the first bottom board. Then cut the cap rail included in kit to fit nicely between the channels, and slip it onto the top of each panel.
