## Description

SharkBite Max push-to-connect slip fittings are the fastest way to make repairs on copper or CPVC pipe. The slip fitting allows for the removal of only the damaged section of pipe (up to 2 in.) without having to replace the whole pipe. SharkBite Max fittings feature a newly designed stainless-steel retainer that delivers additional strength and durability while providing a 400 PSI pressure rating. The re-engineered body allows you to insert the pipe using less effort, making repairs even easier. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue or special tools are required for installation. The fitting can be rotated after installation for quick adjustments and removing the fitting is just as fast with a disconnect tool, allowing fittings and valves to be changed or reused.
