## Description

RIDGID copper SIL-PHOS brazing rod is made for copper base metals. The pack is 1/8 in. x 18 in. (3,2 mm x 457,2 mm) and weighs 1/2 lbs. (0.27 Kg). This product is suitable for both large and small copper tubing installations. It is self-fluxing on copper, but it is not reco mmended for use on ferrous metals like iron or steel. The product serves as a cost-effective alternative to copper-silver alloy rods and has a tensile strength of 40,000 PSI. It melts at a temperature of 1,200°F (649°C) and contains 92% copper and 7.5% phosphorus.
