RIDGID cast iron electrodes come in a 1 lb. (0.45 Kg) pack of 1/8 in. (3.2 mm) stick electrodes. They are EStCl non-machinable cast iron. Nomacast is specifically developed for welding dirty, heat-affected, contaminated and oxidized cast iron where machinability is not required. It bonds to oil impregnated cast iron due to its non-conductive flux coating and nickel-free metal composition. It can be used to fill in large holes or join steel to cast material. Its tensile strength is 62,000 PSI and the reco mmended amperage is 70-125 amps. The electrodes are direct current electrode negative (DCEN) and alternating current (AC).
