Designed for earthquake preparedness, child safety, pet safety and everyday home protection, these anti-tip furniture straps secure top-heavy furniture to a wall stud. The kit includes two flexible 15 in. nylon straps and installation hardware, enough to anchor one large piece of furniture up to 6 ft. x 6 ft. and 500 lb. Use as furniture wall anchors for bookcases, dressers, cabinets, shelving units, china cabinets, entertainment centers, hutches, file cabinets, wall units and grandfather clocks. One end uses a peel-and-press attachment on the furniture while the other screws into a wall stud, helping avoid holes in the furniture itself. The flexible nylon design offers a less visible alternative to rigid L-brackets, and the antique brown finish blends with dark wood furniture and cabinetry. Install according to the included instructions and always fasten to a wall stud. Not intended for hanging furniture or supporting suspended weight.
