PRO-FIT coarse thread drywall screws are precision designed to secure drywall to wood studs. The deep threads on the PRO-FIT drywall screws do a superior job holding the board in place. These light-weight screws are phosphate coated to allow seamless adhesion of tape, mud and paint. New to installing drywall. Select the right drywall screw length for your board:1/4 in. drywall, use 1- to 1 1/4 in. drywall screws 1/2 in. drywall, use 1 1/4 in. or 1 5/8 in. drywall screws 5/8 in. drywall, use 1 5/8 in. or 2 in. drywall screws.
