This is a stainless steel mortise lock designed for a 45 degree keyway. The hook is spring-loaded with an adjustable hook projection that extends to the locked position to automatically latch upon closing, and the adjustment screw is on the face of the lock for easy adjustment. Each lock has a round end faceplate that is designed to fit on most Adam Rite sliding doors.
