## Description

Prime-Line GD 52238 Torsion Spring Winding Rods are a critical, must-have tool for replacing or adjusting torsion springs in residential garage doors. The sturdy rods are constructed of cold-rolled steel to provide the necessary strength and durability to perform torsion spring replacements and adjustments without worrying about keeping the spring tension under control. Two identical 1/2 inch x 16 inch torsion spring rods are included, and both are required for torsion spring replacement. The hard-drawn wire rods are designed specifically for increasing (winding) and decreasing (unwinding) the tension on garage door torsion springs, and they are the only tools recommended for this purpose. Failure to use these rods when replacing or adjusting torsion springs may result in personal injury and property damage.Torsion Spring Winding Rods make replacing and adjusting garage door springs fast, easy and economical. It is very important to take proper safety precautions and not improvise with another type of rod that may not fit properly or could fail under tension. These rods are sturdy, safe and the only tool you need.Note: Winding cones should be wound and unwound 1/4 turn at a time. Not for use on winding cones larger than 33/64 inch in diameter.

• Designed to wind and unwind tension on torsion springs
• Made of steel to ensure durability
• Comes with a diameter of 1/2 in.
