Introducing the 4 in. to 2-1/2 in. Cone Reducer by POWERTEC. This limited adapter was designed to provide you with a simple solution to coupling your 4-inch ID dust hoses with 2-1/2 ID dust hoses. Specifically, it allows you to step down from a larger main line to a smaller branch line without compromising air velocity or the effectiveness of your dust collection system. It features a premium, heavy walled ABS plastic construction made for durability and to withstand the wear & tear commonly associated with woodworking dust collection. It's extremely easy-to-use and doesn't require messy tape or additional equipment. 【PLEASE NOTE】This reducer is NOT intended to be used for a direct connection to your dust collector or shop vac OD ports. It fits and accommodates hoses ONLY. If you are in need of an adapter that connects directly to your 4 in. dust collection equipment port, you will also require the following item: POWERTEC 70149 4 in. Flex Cuff with Hose Clamp (sold separately). To make a direct connection between a 4 in. port to another 4 in. port, the following adapter may be a better alternative: POWERTEC 70171 Threaded Quick Coupler (sold separately).
