## Description

Capture excess stormwater with a drainage solution that covers more surface area than just the pipe diameter alone using the flared-out design of the 9 in. Downspout Defender Kit. Includes the low-profile adapter, Downspout Defender and outlet adapter to drain heavy flows from under downspouts. The 9 in. Square Low-Profile Adapter, made of polystyrene, connects to 3 in. and 4 in. single-wall corrugated, sewer and drain pipe, triple-wall-pipe and 4 in. Sch. 40 and triple-wall pipes with the included outlet adapter (#1243). The kit also includes a 9 in. Downspout Defender drain grate to block debris and leaves from entering and clogging the pipeline. Grate has an open surface area of 39.5 sq. in. and 121 GPM flow capacity. As part of a complete drainage system, the adapter collects and directs water to drain pipe, which carry it to a discharge point downstream such as a pop-up emitter or to percolate into the ground with a dry well or infiltration trench.
