Out of the box it is able to drive up to 2 7/8 in. posts, perfect for installing heavy duty galvanized steel posts used in commercial fencing. This unit is big enough to drive post through ground as hard as reclaimed concrete, yet still light enough that one person can operate it in any climate to get the job done. At 38 lbs. this unit provides more driving force than any of the smaller units to make quick work of driving posts.
