## Description

The 18V LXT 1/4 Sheet Finishing Sander offers the sanding performance of a corded version but without the cord. It offers the choice of two-speed modes at 11,000 RPM or 14,000 RPM with one-touch electronic speed control for a variety of applications. It uses a large clamping lever to install a sheet of 4-1/2" x 4" abrasive paper quickly and easily. There is a built-in dust port that facilitates through-the-pad dust collection in the removal to the included dust collection bag and can easily connect to a Makita vacuum system (sold separately) for a cleaner work environment.Convenience features include an ergonomically designed rubberized grip for increased comfort. The sander only weighs 3.8 lbs with the battery installed (sold separately).It's part of Makita's expanding 18V Lithium-Ion system, the world's largest cordless tool system powered by 18V Lithium-Ion slide-style batteries.
