## Description

Rugged and dependable heavy-duty cast iron pump with powder coat finish. Liberty's "workhorse" sump pump features a unique one-piece cast iron body, quick-disconnect power cord. With a durable, epoxy powder coat finish and vortex style impeller, Liberty's 257 VMF pump is the perfect choice for basement de-watering. This VMF switch, magnetically operated vertical float -operates in a 10 in. Dia sump. Vertical Magnetic Float (VMF) models (257, 287 and 297) are not recommended for effluent applications due to their short On/Off cycle. Wide angle float models are better suited for effluent applications and are easily adjustable for different On/Off levels.
