The aggressive pre-sharpened teeth are filed and set for cross cutting, with deep gullets every third tooth in the Great American pattern, which self-clears debris and dust as you work. The first 5 in. of the blade are smaller, starter teeth. This hand saw for wood is designed for one-man operation, with a slight rocker curve that allows for smooth action and a special 6-inch-long screw-on auxiliary handle for two-hand usage.
