The K2 Pumps Complete Primary and Battery Backup Pump System is recommended for all sump pump applications. The 1/3 HP primary pump is constructed of heavy-duty cast iron and stainless steel for longer life and can pump up to 4000 gal. per hour and 28 ft. of lift. It has a vertical switch, lubricated ball bearings, and a shaft seal that will extend the life of the pump. The backup DC pump will turn on if there is a power outage, primary pump failure, or if extra pumping capacity is needed in an active sump. The DC backup pump can pump up to 1800 gal. per hour and 15 ft. of lift and is constructed of durable thermoplastic. The DC pump includes a high-efficiency motor for extended operation and also includes a vertical switch.
