Ivy Classic Step Drills, constructed out of M2 high-speed steel, are designed to produce perfectly round, burr-free holes in metal, wood and plastic of varying thickness. These precision ground, bright finish drill bits feature a tri-lobe shank which won't slip in the drill chuck and a split point which provides fast penetration and accurate starting. The cone shape of these bits adds strength and prevents bit flexing while drilling. Additionally, the sizes on these bits have been laser-etched onto the bits for easy hole size identification. These step drills are available in a variety of sizes and increments.
