Casing mouldings are installed around the inside of window units and on both sides of door units. Casing mouldings cover the joint between the jamb of the door or window and the house framing. Casing mouldings are available in many designs and widths. That well-grounded look, visually making walls look well set and stable. Used with a base cap and a base shoe, base moldings can have that built up, larger than life feel. Base moldings are also great at covering up uneven flooring edges.
