This 6 in. duct is constructed with thickened aluminum foil and high-strength elastic spiral steel wire, featuring a glass fiber insulation layer in the middle. It offers high temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and flame retardancy, making it suitable for various ventilation needs. The insulation has an R value of R-4.2 and can withstand temperatures from -4°C to 454°C. Its fluffy internal structure with high density glass wool effectively absorbs sound, reducing noise by up to 85%. The duct is flexible, allowing arbitrary bending without rigid elbows, and the aluminum foil is self-sustaining, maintaining flatness and reducing wind resistance after installation. It works well in high, medium, and low pressure ventilation systems without corrosive gases, including central air conditioning HVAC, fresh air ventilation, and mechanical equipment recovery systems.
