The Hakko B1215 is a cleaning pin for the Hakko 802, 807, 808 and 817 desoldering tools. Over time, the heater gets clogged with debris, such as dross and conformal coating, which gets sucked into the nozzle during the desoldering process. It is advised to keep one of these on hand to keep your desoldering heater clog-free at all times.
