Highly recommended for commercial applications, it's advised to work with any brand of narrow stile mortise deadlacth, particulary the TH1103/TH1104 series. You can order it when converting a narrow stile lock to a deadlatch, to cover elongated slot in aluminum frame. This one is installed on the frame/strike jamb piece. Item is only available in Aluminum finish.
