Downspout straps, also called downspout bands, secure the downspout to the wall of a building with 2 fasteners. These Gibraltar Building Products' 1-3/4 in. x 2-3/4 in. use 2 downspout straps for every 10 ft. of downspout. These downspout straps are made from professional grade 26-Gauge bowdlerized steel. Bowdlerized steel is treated so that it is ready to paint.
