Tri-Ply Ply 4 roofing felt is constructed with a fiberglass mat that is coated with the finest-quality asphalt, and is designed with optimum porosity to ensure a sound, watertight membrane. Optimum porosity of the felt provides ready escape of air while allowing proper asphalt penetration at the time of mopping. GAF Tri-Ply Ply 4 is used as a ply felt in the construction of built-up roofs.
