The FootingPad by AG-CO is a lightweight foundation for posts used in deck and post frame construction. It eliminates the need for concrete in supporting posts used in pole barns, porches, gazebos, decks and more. Thoroughly tested and approved by the International Code Council Evaluation Services, this post footer makes construction faster and easier. The ICC-ESR found in the documents section below can be delivered to building inspectors not familiar with composite footers. No need to change your process or buy new tools, dig hole below frost line, flatten bottom of hole and place footer ribbed side up. Ease the wear and tear on yourself, your crew and your equipment. Size of FootingPad post footer to use is driven by load, with maximum load on a 16 in. Dia footer of 4,200 lbs. in 3000 PSF soil.
