Our stair rail bolt kit also comes with a wood plug to cover up the opening following installation and a curved bushing that promotes a snug fit of this stair hardware against the interior of the stock. The wood plug is installed using common woodworking glue and when the grain is aligned with the stock, produced a beautiful final product.
