Everbilt's flange lock nuts are used for fastening to a bolt when mechanically joining materials together. The washer-like surface securely grips the material and helps prevent loosening during vibration. The flanged portion of the nut provides a greater bearing surface which helps to reduce surface tension. Use with same grade and material bolt or screw. Design allows full surface contact with threads.
