The Everbilt Hot Water Recirculation Pump is designed to provide instant hot water throughout the home. It mounts on or near the home's hot water heater, and replenishes water in all hot water lines as heat is lost through the plumbing and fixtures. It utilizes a temperature sensing valve (included) that mounts near the faucet located furthest from the water heater. This "sensor" valve opens when the water cools, and the pump then circulates newly heated water to refill the hot water lines. The cooler water is sent through the cold water lines back to the water heater to be re-heated. For efficiency, the pump includes a 24-hour digital setting timer, allowing users to program automated start and stop cycles for heavy use times, or the pump can run 24/7. The unit features a 3/4 in. FIP inlet and 3/4 in. MIP outlet for reliable installation and compatibility with standard plumbing setups. Engineered with noise-dampening features, it helps minimize distracting sounds for a quieter home environment. Its leak-proof design incorporates superior sealing components to prevent unwanted fluid leakage, ensuring dependable performance. It supports a maximum temperature of 160°F and a maximum pressure of 145 PSI.
