## Description

Check valves permit water to flow in 1 direction within a plumbing system. This valve acts as a backflow prevention device to prevent wastewater from returning into the fresh water supply. A steel-spring poppet with a rubber O-ring is the internal mechanism preventing water backflow and operates automatically. An arrow is molded onto the valve body to ensure correct installation for proper flow control.
