Patented swaged technology provides a very tight fit between caps and posts and helps prevent rust and corrosion inside fence posts (US 11,913,246 B2). Everbilt 1-5/8 in. Metal Fence Post Caps sit on top of the corner posts (end/terminal posts) to keep yard clippings, debris and insects from clogging up the posts. They also give chain link fencing a finished look. The chain link fence post cap is made from aluminum and is designed to resist weathering and rust and increase the longevity of the metal fence fittings for outdoor use. This chain link fence hardware will fit on top of a 1-5/8 in. Dia corner or end posts. These caps are often called No-Way Post Caps or Zero-Way Post Caps because they do not have an opening to accommodate top rails.
