The Ball Valve is an ideal choice for in-line on/off flow control operations for water, oil and gases in residential and light commercial locations. The body of this valve is constructed of lead-free brass, which is a durable material and ideal for resisting corrosion while preserving the integrity of internal components for a long operational life. The ball is constructed from stainless steel, and is designed to full port standards, minimizing any turbulence when in the on position and supports quick on/off operations with a quarter-turn. Additional features for this valve include a packing nut, providing additional leak resistance from the stem, a blowout proof stem, and PTFE seats and packing. The side drain allows for the drainage of the depressurized line when the valve is in the off operation.
