Flare plugs are used in higher pressure applications with gasoline, grease, oil, water, vacuum and air lines, along with LP and natural gas. When used with forged nuts, they are often used in AC or refrigeration repair. Brass is durable, lead-free and corrosion resistant. This fitting conforms to NSF 61 and 372 and is registered in Mass. Use with flared tubing.
