These breakers combine photovoltaic (PV) power and utility power into one convenient enclosure. Meter breakers provide the service entrance equipment that consist of a meter socket and loadcenter or meter socket and main breaker in a single enclosure.NEC 705 compliance is ensured with factory-installed permanent markings, which enable quick and easy identification of product ratings and the location of the parallel energy source and disconnects. Additionally, the main breaker is located at the end of the distribution panel, to comply with the National Electrical Code.
