Unlike painted or coated alternatives, solid copper never peels, chips, or rusts. Designed for true/actual 5.5" x 5.5" wood posts (nominal 6x6 lumber). Includes 2 copper-plated screws for secure installation; construction adhesive can also be used. The pyramid profile protects exposed post tops from water infiltration, reducing moisture damage and wood rot. Cap overlaps approximately 1" over the post for a secure, finished appearance.
