Create aged, crackled finishes by first applying a basecoat of Americana Decor Chalky Finish Paint. Apply an even coat of crackle medium over basecoat, allow to dry, then apply a thin coat of a contrasting color. Crackling will occur to the top layer of paint while drying, exposing the basecoat color. Be careful not to over work the contrasting topcoat.
