## Description

DAP Blockade is a high-performance, water-based intumescent acrylic firestop sealant that expands to fill voids created by burning materials and meets ASTM E814/UL 1479 standards. Tested for 4-hour fire resistance, it treats general firestopping applications. Ideal for both combustible and non-combustible penetrations, it expands to fill voids created by burning materials. Blockade offers excellent adhesion to unprimed surfaces and easy application. Low odor formula cleans up easily with water and is paintable once cured. The red color makes it easily identifiable as a firestop sealant. Works for interior use.
